Would you be surprised to find that most of you are wasting a good
part of your embroidery dollar? The very first place you'll find
you're not getting your money's worth is designs! Most of you are
spending from $1 to $30 dollars, or more, for inferior designs without
knowing it; the only way to know what quality work you're purchasing
is to learn specific criteria to look for in a high quality embroidery
design. The proof of a good design is not the appearance; following
are the things to look for in quality designs:
1] Are the majority of your designs full of jump stitches?
2] Is the stitch density correct; do you see fabric through the
design indicating a low density or is the design hard when finished
indicating a design that's too dense?
3] Do you experience problems during the stitch out such as thread
or needle breaks,
bird nesting, puckers, etc.?
4] Are the color sequences correct; does each color sequence occur
only once?
5] Are there gaps between design parts or outlines?
If you can't answer "no" to all the above questions then you're
using poorly
digitized designs & wasting a good portion of your embroidery dollar!
Do you think it makes no difference once the design is stitched?
Do you think your time is less important than the amount you spend
on your hobby; how much do you believe your time is worth? Machine
embroidery is a large investment for most of us; it takes too much
valuable time and money for projects to have the thread pull out
or not look as nice as it should when it's finished! This is especially
true of the projects that will be laundered a lot. How will inferior
digitized designs hold up; if your projects don't hold up well,
they aren't worth spending your time or money on!
Thread Artist wants to help you make sure you're getting the most
"bang for your buck" when spending your embroidery dollar! If you
want the very best you can produce with your machine, and are tired

of Sandy's samples; please take the time to do so. You will realize
the difference between our work and that of so many others. Thread
