Embroidery Fonts Digitizing

Embroidery Magic software digitizing fonts for embroidery lettering and monograms

Recommended Settings for small embroidery fonts:

All embroidered fonts were test sewn on pique knit fabric using 5mm Wonder Solv for topping and a bottom fusible stabilizer and sewn out at speeds not exceeding 900 stitches per minute. Each font was digitized at .24 inches or 6mm. Each font was created to go no smaller than .16 inches or 4mm, and to be sewn no larger than .35 inches or 9.25mm. You may sew these fonts out at larger or smaller sizes but Pantograms recommends that a test sew be done and does not guarantee results. For best results stay within the below size specifications.

1. Density for all fonts is recommended between 57-60 rows per inch, 2.27-2.38 rows per mm.

2. Top sewing speed of 900 stitches per minute in flat mode, 650-700 stitches per minute in cap mode.

3. Wonder Solv for topping and a bottom fusible stabilizer.

4. Underlay should be Center walk at the following stitch lengths for each font.

NOTE: The following settings are for .24inch (6mm) lettering, with smaller or larger size lettering you will need to make adjustments along with adjustments for different fabric type

Releasing the Power of Embroidery Magic 2 ™ Tutorial
an embroidery digitizing tutorial with lettering, monogramming, customizing & more

This color text and image tutorial is written in a concise and easy to follow style for the Embroidery Magic 2 ™ lettering, editing and digitizing software program by Pantograms®.

We asked customers for their preference of learning style that they want in software tutorial.  The majority asked for a printed book of text instructions in easy to understand language and color images.  The majority of you answered that they did not want videos as they have found them more difficult to follow with both a tutorial & program opened on their screens at the same time!

We listened and Sandy created a full color text & image tutorial to help all EM2™ owners to be off and running as quickly as each individual can schedule the time to learn!  We believe that you can be digitizing and personalizing your embroidery with lettering in far less time than trying to learn the program on your own by learning from images such as these found in this helpful book.

So now you may be asking yourself;  How do I deicide if this is the help that I need ?

Here is the first and most important thing that we suggest that you consider -

I am sure that you consider the author of any book you buy, but this is especially important with instructional guides.  But that is just part of it - the most important criteria is to -

Consider how well the author does what they are trying to teach you to do.  How can anyone teach you to do anything unless they can do it themselves and do it well ?

For a digitizing guide, we think that you should judge for yourself -

just - how well that the author actually digitizes embroidery designs

So Please judge for yourself - we invite your comparison
