Embroidery Fonts lettering or monograms files in 10 seconds

Yes, I know that it's hard to believe, that anyone can make a good lettering file in 10 seconds, but that is exactly what I hope to show you.

Both versions of the Embroidery Magic software are in fact that quick and easy to use and they both operate almost alike, so this lesson will work to show you how to use either version.

If you already have either Embroidery Magic 1,  Embroidery Magic 2, or FancyWorks Studio - You can use this lesson to begin to learn using their great lettering features. 

If you don't have one of the above versions of this software - I hope that this lesson will show you how quick and easy it is to use and that it is really possible to create great lettering or monogram files in about 10 seconds.

Open the program - and let's get started

All 3 software programs operate almost the same way, and there is very little difference in the looks, so I will use screen shots from Embroidery Magic 2 in this demo tutorial lesson.

Here is a screen shot below of the opening screen - (screen images have been cropped to save page load time)
 

The time starts on the first click - (see below for the first Button to click)

Click the >   Button  - [ and the time starts ]

Click near the center of the white screen (this is the lettering / design work area) [ 1 second and counting ]

When you click as directed above in the white area - the Lettering Screen will open (as shown below) [ 2 seconds ]
 

Now > Type in your Name - 2 seconds to type [ 4 seconds total so far and counting ]

The lettering is now made - and now all we have left to do is to get it ready to Save, and Save it -

Of course, there are many options and features that you could use to make your letters or monograms look just the way that you like - and these options and features are quick and easy to use, but the clock is ticking, so we will use the default settings to make this lettering file in less than 10 seconds. [ only 6 seconds to go ]

Click the > Button and you Name shows on the Main Screen / work area as shown below

Now Click the Center Button > to center the lettering design [ 5 seconds ]

Then Click the Filter Short Stitches Button >   - [ 6 seconds ]

Click the "Save Designs as Embroidery File Button" > - [ 7 seconds ]

Now the "Save Designs File AS" Screen pops up - as shown below -
 

Type your initials in the File Name Box - to name your lettering file - only 2 seconds left to type your initials and click the Save Button
Note the location where you are saving your lettering files as shown in the "Save in" Box near the top of the screen - you can of course change the Save location as you like.

Click the Save Button >   [ 9 seconds ]

Now - You are Done - And in less than 10 seconds - if you stayed on schedule

Your embroidery lettering file is Now be Complete and Ready to Stitch -

Only 7 clicks and typing in your lettering and naming your digitized file - and you are ready to start sewing !

You could now open you transfer software for sending your designs to your machine -
and send the design, lettering or monogram file to your machine and start embroidering.
