1. Cut hydro stick stabilizer / backing a little larger than your hoop size to assure all sides will be secured, then hoop only the backing with the with the adhesive side up. - The adhesive side has a slightly shiny surface.
2. Activate the adhesive with a damp sponge or stamp roller, making sure that the surface is evenly moistened.
3. Position the article on the tacky surface, flattening out all wrinkles with a slightly firm touch trying to adhere as much of the surface area as possible.
4. Attach the hoop to the machine making sure area to be embroidered is free of wrinkles and loose fabric. If repositioning is required, just lift and remoisten. When you are finished, just tear away the stabilizer as normal.
5. Hydro-Stick can also be used as a traditional tear-away embroidery stabilizer on difficult materials such as soft or loose knits. Just activate adhesive, adhere to article, hoop as you normally would and tear away when finished - sewing your embroidery designs has never been this easy!
Hydro-Stick is completely safe, it has no harmful chemicals, cleans up with ordinary water and does not gum up needles or contaminate machines.
