Stitch length: 5.0mm ~ Starts in upper left corner. ~ Will tie in, no tie
off.
I have created these frames to help those who cannot have the software to
create their own. Several sizes are included, but not all - there
are too many! Some may need to alter the size of a frame in their editing
software to make a frame fit the hoop size of their choosing. If anyone
attempts this, make sure that you make the frame slightly smaller that the
max, to avoid damaging your hoop, although it is highly unlikely that your
machine will allow you to open a frame that is too large.
SIZES & FORMATS: If you do not find the size or format you need, please
check the "Generic" folder! You may need to convert the EXP files to the
format you need! I have provided the most standard formats in appropriate
sizes for those formats. Should you find that you require any additional
size, please use directions above.
NOTE: You will not find any ultra large or multi-position hoop frames here.
These should be created in the software for the brand machine they are intended
for use with. You can easily use your editing software to alter the size
of any hoops included here to fit the larger hoop of your choice. Please
note the warning re-resizing.
HOW TO USE: How to make your basting frame stitch first!
1] Open the basting frame size of your choice.
2] Save As a new file name.
3] Insert or copy/paste the design you wish to stitch into the frame.
4] If you software has the option, always "group" the design before moving
it into the correct position in the frame.
5] Move the frame in as close to the design as you can without having any
of the design stitch over the frame. You will achieve maximum results by
doing this.
TO REMOVE: After all stitching is completed, leave the fabric in the hoop.
Clip bobbin thread on the back side at each corner & every 2-3" on each
side. Using tweezers, pull out all the bobbin thread. Turn the piece over
& lift off the top thread. TIP: This method of "ripping out" will work on
any straight stitch seam!
