You will need a machine that has a minimum 5 x 7 inch embroidery stitch area, however you can use a larger hoop if your machine is capable of stitching larger than 5 x 7 designs. For combination designs, I do suggest using the larger hoops if you have them - it's much easier to get the designs placed exactly by using your editing to move them just a bit as needed.  I have provided some suggested placement templates to help you. They have the measurements to help even a novice. If you've wanted to try the larger combos, now's the time - it couldn't be any easier!

      These embroidery files can be downloaded or furnished on CD disks in these machine embroidery formats: art for Artista, pes for Brother / Deco / Baby lock, hus for Husqvarna / Viking and dst formats for both commercial and home craft sewing machines. If your machine will stitch the larger designs but your format isn't here, purchase the dst format & convert them to the format you need.
