Decidedly Different Embroidery Designs Collection This embroidery designs set is dedicated to the lady in Texas who inspired me to do this set. She knows who she is. The rose design will always remind me of the "Yellow Rose of Texas". Many thanks! Stitch the sample before making any decision about whether or not you like the set. These designs are not ordinary designs. Please allow the testers words to speak for me! Following are the tester comments: “Looks as close to hand stitched work as I’ve seen. In fact, the actual sample would speak very well to handwork. The heavier 30 weight embroidery cotton went very nicely - so I would think the highest loft thread available would do the design great justice.”…Will make one more run w/ Sulky 30wt & some 40 wt rayon for sheen on this silver fabric.” (See Floral 1 embroidery design image) “First, the stitch-outs have been easy! The stabilizing of these designs is easier than many stitch intensive designs. I’ve used all kinds of combinations on 3 fabrics: silk dupioni, linen-not the tightest! & the fine cotton…all seemed to work equally well…I would say these have been not challenging from the stabilizing perspective…This is a wonderful collection.” “Stitched the mags on orchid linen & the tulips on the gold silk. (See the images) Not a problem w/ any of them…The Magnolias, [floral 1] & the hummingbird all have an elegant grace to them where the satin stitching flows into the fabric as if the embroidery designs grew there. With the tulips, the eye traces the outlining where the edge is very defined against the fabric-a different look from the others…This set is gorgeous…and it’s been great fun working w/ them.” “The issue of gaps, I think, was nicely resolved in all of the embroidery designs…I do believe that this is absolute digitizing skills, …one element that makes these designs the work of a professional and not an amateur!” We have put up as many of the test stitch sample as the page will allow.
